The 9th Biennial Conference of the Czech Economic Society

The 9th Biennial Conference of the Czech Economic Society will take place on 26 November 2016 at the Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze, W. Churchill Sq. 4, Prague 3. Participants are invited to a day-ahead seminar session organized jointly with the Czech National Bank at the CNB Congress Centre on 25 November 2016.

 

Submissions of completed papers in English are welcomed by October 5, 2016. The submissions should be sent to cse.conference2016@gmail.com together with the application to the conference, which may be downloaded from http://www.cse.cz/en/activities/biennial-conferences/. There is no submission fee. The papers in any area of economics and finance are welcomed. The papers will be selected and divided into thematic sessions by the conference programme committee chaired by Jan Hanousek. The presenters may be asked to serve as discussants. Researchers are invited to submit papers irrespective of their institutional and geographical affiliation within or outside the Czech Republic. The conference fee is 1000 Czech crowns (the fee does not apply for the day-ahead seminar session). For early registration until October 21, there is no conference fee for the Czech Economic Society members. Institutional members may nominate up to five delegates for free.

Time limit for presenter is 20 minutes followed by 10 minutes for discussant and 5 minutes for general discussion. All rooms include equipment for PowerPoint presentation.
